The Law Offices Of Derald L. Gab was founded in 1993 by Derald L. Gab. Mr Gab was determined to provide ordinary people with the same or greater quality of legal representation as enjoyed by insurance companies who employed big law firms. Mr. Gab employed additional attorneys to further advocate for the people in need of legal representation in other areas of the law!
Derald L. Gab
Derald L. Gab received his Doctor of Law degree from Washington University in 1981. Mr. Gab is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Illinois, and the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Illinois and the Eastern District of Missouri. Prior to founding his own firm, Mr. Gab received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Augustana College in 1978.
Mr Gab has practiced law for insurance defense firms in Missouri and Illinois, and has handled personal injury cases throughout the U.S.
Mr. Bret Kleefuss graduated from Indiana University School of Law in 2006 with cum laude honors. During his time in law school, Bret represented indigent clients while working for the Indiana University Community Law Clinic. He handled family law matters ranging from divorce to child support and custody issues, and filed an appeal with the Indiana State Court of Appeals.
Bret moved to St. Louis and received his Missouri Bar License in 2006. Bret also obtained his Illinois Bar License in 2007. He is licensed to practice in the United States District Court of the Eastern District of Missouri. Bret spent his first two years as a licensed attorney in a large St. Louis law firm that handled labor law and employment matters. During his time at the firm, Bret saw the need for an employment attorney who would advocate for employees who were wrongly discriminated against, and treated unfairly by businesses.
Bret joined the Law Offices of Derald L. Gab in 2008. His goal is to provide quality representation to each of his clients in employment and discrimination matters. He believes all people should be treated equally in the workplace, and should never have to endure discrimination, harassment, or other unfair treatment.
Bret graduated from the University of Michigan in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature.
Mr. Kyle Kleefuss graduated from Wayne State University Law School in 2008. As a student, Kyle was an active member of Wayne State’s Disability Law Clinic. During that time, he successfully tried Social Security appeals before agency judges and tribunals.
Kyle moved to St. Louis and obtained his Missouri Bar License in 2009. Soon after passing the bar, Kyle joined the Law Offices of Derald L. Gab. Kyle has handled numerous types of cases including domestic, traffic, criminal and Social Security.
Kyle now focuses on all areas of personal injury litigation, including premises liability, auto accidents, and trucking cases. Over the past several years, he has tried numerous cases in the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County.
Kyle brings a unique blend of enthusiasm, knowledge and diligence to every case he handles. Every client is important to Kyle, and he takes great pride in obtaining recoveries for victims of negligence. Kyle’s experience also reflects the success he brings to every client.
Kyle graduated from Oakland University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration and Political Science.
